Pioneer Databases
Pioneer offers a portal to carefully selected premium databases that provide accurate and auhtoritative content. These databases are password-protected resources that provide 24/7 access to the hidden web. The Pioneer databases include journal articles, magazines, newspapers, pictures, biographies, and other research aides that are unavailable on the "free" internet. Many of these sources offer full text. These databases have been provided through the collaborative efforts of the members of the Pioneer partnership. They are available to you in your local public library or in your own home.
Our premium databases require that you enter your library card barcode (and in some cases, a PIN) or Pioneer Access Code, which you can obtain from your local public library. The licenses purchased for the these databases require that their usage be limited to Utah residents.
