What are Primary Sources?
Primary sources are original records that were written or created during the time under study. They can include: diaries, speeches, interviews, memoirs, manuscripts, letters, interviews, news film footage, autobiographies, official records, documents created by government agencies, new research data, maps, objects, and artifacts.
